The system options page is where you can configure system wide settings within the software that control the backend database, the administrator password, and various system counters. A detailed description of each setting is shown below.
| Admin Password | To change the administrator password enter a new password here. |
| ReType Admin Password | Confirm a new administrator password by re-entering it here. |
| Starting Employee ID | Enter a number here to set the starting employee ID/badge number. Time and Attendance Plus will use this number to start its counter for automatically generated badge numbers. |
| Employee ID Increment | Enter a number here to set increment size for employee ID/badge numbers. Time and Attendance Plus will use this number to increment the automatically generated badge numbers. |
| Database Type | Select the database type that Time and Attendance will use as a backend here. Currently this is either MS Access or SQL Server/MSDE. |
| Database Location | Set the current location of your backend database here. |
| Move Button | To move the location of your Time and Attendance Plus database click this button. Ideally this should not be on your local hard drive but somewhere on your company network that gets backed up. |
| Open Folder Button | To open the folder in which the Time and Attendance Plus database resides click the Open Folder button. This is useful for emailing the database to other people or to the TSMTS Software support staff. |
| Database Server | Enter the name of the SQL / MSDE Server containing your Time and Attendance Plus database here. |
| Database Name | The name of the SQL / MSDE database containing your Time and Attendance Plus data. The database must be created and setup before you can connect Time and Attendance Plus to it. |
| Database User | The SQL/MSDE database user setup for Time and Attendance Plus. This user must be able to add/edit/delete tables and data. |
| Database Password | The SQL Auth password for the database user you are going to use. |
