You can assign employees in Time and Attendance Plus to shifts. This can be useful for cost tracking and payroll reporting purposes, with most reports able to be generated by shift. Payroll calculations can be effected by shift, with a loading that can be applied to each shift (so a night shift can be automatically loaded without changing rates on an employee by employee basis). You can add, edit, or delete shifts using the Tools & Options -> Options -> Shifts screen.
Currently defined shifts are displayed in a list. To add a new shift click the
button. To edit an existing shift click on it in the shifts list and click the
button. To delete an existing shift click on it in the shifts list and click the
button.
