You can configure the security options in Time and Attendance Plus using the security options page. These settings will help you to stop false clocks entered by employees trying to falsify their time and attendance data.
| Require Admin Password | To stop employees from stopping the software and editing the system clock you can require that the administrator password be entered upon system start, stop, or both. Check this box to turn this setting on. |
| Do Not Allow System Clock Changes | To have Time and Attendance Plus check the system clock for changes while it is running check this box. If the difference between the internal Time and Attendance Clock and the system clock ever exceeds one minute then a warning will be given and no further clock ins or out are possible. The only way this can be cured is stopping and re-starting the software or using the Synchronize button as described below. |
| Synchronize | Use this button to set the system clock to the internal clock used by Time and Attendance Plus. |
| Password Character for Badge Number Entry | To prevent employees learning other employees badge numbers you should check this box. It will replace the numbers on the keypad interface with the '*' character. |
