Employee Payroll Information

The employee payroll information in Time and Attendance Plus allows you to control the individual payroll settings for the selected employee. See the table below for a detailed description of each setting.

Setting
Description
Social Security Number The social security number for the employee can be entered here.
Employment Type You can enter the employment type for the employee here. Employment types are discussed further in the Employment Types help topic.
Payment Type The payment type, either hourly or salaried is entered for the employee here.
Normal Rate / Hr The normal hourly rate for hourly employees is entered here.
OT Rate / hr The overtime rate for hourly employees is entered here.
Salary Period The base salary period for salaried employees is entered here.
Salary / Period The pay rate for each salary period for salaried employees is entered here.
Overtime Loading The overtime loading for salaried employees is entered here. If a loading of 1.25 is applied for overtime for th employee then they will be paid 25% higher than their normal pay rate.
Allow for Paid Holidays To allow for paid holidays check this box.
Accrue Sick Time To allow the employee to accrue sick time check this box. The actual rate of accrual is determined by the employment type of the employee. If the employment type is not setup for sick time accruals then the employee will not accrue sick time regardless of whether this box is checked or not.
Accrue Vacation Time To allow the employee to accrue vacation time check this box. The actual rate of accrual is determined by the employment type of the employee. If the employment type is not setup for vacation time accruals then the employee will not accrue vacation time regardless of whether this box is checked or not.
