The interface settings control how the software appears to employees and how they are required to interact with it. Each setting is described in detail in the table below.

Setting
Description
Data Entry Mode The sets the mode in which employees will use the software. The Employee List option requires employees to select their name from a list and then click the clock in/out button. The keypad option requires them to enter their badge number /employee ID and then click the enter button.
Require Employee PIN This box needs to be checked if you require employees to enter their PIN (personal identification number) when punching in or out.
Require Employees Comment This box needs to be checked if you require employees to enter a comment when punching in or out.
Ask For Comment On Use this box to set when you require an employee comment, either on punching in, punching out, or punching in and out.
Allow Blank Comment This box needs to be checked if you will allow employees to not enter comment when requested.
Employees Can View Timecard This box needs to be checked if you want to allow employees to view their punchcard or detailed punchcard reports while using the Employee List interface.
Employees Can Print Timecard This box needs to be checked if you want employees to be able to print their punchcard or detailed punchcard reports.
