Editing Employee Times

As the Time and Attendance Plus administrator you may find the need to manage employees clock data directly. You may need to do this because:

When logged in as the administrator you can access the Edit Times screen from the Tools & Options menu.

As with most screens in Time and Attendance Plus, the Edit Times screen is split into two main sections with and employee list on the left and the selected employee times on the right. All you need to do to edit an employees times is select their name in the list, and then select the time period from the drop down on the top right. Please note that you can only edit an employees times if they are clocked out.

Manually Clocking Out an Employee

An employee must be clocked out for you to edit their times, to allow this you can manually clock out an employee from the Edit Times screen. To manually clock out an employee click on their name in the list (if they are clocked in they will have a green diamond next to their names). Then click the Clock Out button (next to the View Times From label).

View Times from a Date Range

Just select a date range from the drop down box above the times list to view times from that date range only.

Adding an Employee Time

Clicking the button will allow to add a new pair of times for an employee. You will be shown the Add Time screen. Note that you can only add times in pairs (that is a punch in and a punch out time).

Editing an Employee Time

Just click on a time in the times list and then click the button to edit that time. You will be shown the Edit Time screen. You can add notes to times as the administrator by editing times.

Deleting an Employee Time

If you need to delete an employee time click on it on the employee time list and then click the button. You will then be taken to the Delete Time screen. Note that you can only delete times in pairs (that is a clock in and out time).

Audit Trail

Note that any time created or edited by the administrator is flagged as such. Also any employee clocked in or out while logged in as the administrator will also have the associated times flagged as edited by the administrator. These times are noted in the Time and Attendance Plus reports.
